The Splice Line fittings are designed to be light weight and easy on the line. Both US Sailing and ISAF now allow Dyneema/ Spectra life lines for offshore racing and Dyneema/ Spectra is also a great product for the cruising sailor that wants to replace their stainless steel life line cables. When I order my bracket, I put the wrong mailing address. So the post office returned it to Fast Boat Parts. Armen the rep. For Fast Boat Parts, Immediately returned my call & has been doing a great job of watching for the returned bracket, keeping me informed of the status. The first bracket was delivered quickly & Armen has been very nice & thoughtful in assisting me with getting another bracket mailed to my correct address.
